Who are we?
Encre Vive is a team of three enthusiasts with complementary skills: testing and writing, visual design, development and AI. No outsourced writing, no assembly-line content: every comparison, every guide and every feature of the animation tool goes through our hands before reaching yours.
The project was born from a double observation: tattoo artists are drowning in digital tools without knowing which ones are truly worth their price, and tattoos — permanent works of art — remained frozen in a world of animated content. Encre Vive answers both: a media that tests and compares, and a tool that brings ink to life.
What we do
Comparisons & tests
Studio management software, design tools, booking platforms: we try them in real conditions before ranking them. What disappoints doesn't make the cut.
Practical guides
Becoming a tattoo artist, running a studio, growing your clientele: hands-on guides written for the field, reviewed and updated regularly.
AI animation
Our in-house tool turns a tattoo photo into a smooth animation, ready to share on Instagram or TikTok. It's what the site helps fund.
How we work
- Real testing: no tool enters a comparison without being handled. When we couldn't test something, we say so clearly.
- Transparency: some links are affiliate links — the tool doesn't cost you more, and the commission funds the site and the animation tool. Our opinion is not for sale.
- Independence: no brand can buy its spot in a ranking or have a review removed.

Unlike basic filters, Encre Vive relies on generative AI models trained on thousands of tattoo styles (old school, realism, dotwork, Japanese…). The animation respects the stroke and texture of the original ink, and your photos are processed confidentially.
